W.:
A very solid and entertaining movie. What’s fascinating is that the director Oliver Stone who’s known for his opposition to the Bush politics, didn’t go for the easy choice of mocking the president, nor did he parody him. As I saw it, he paints a very balanced portrait of the man, showing him as lovable and close to the heart person, that is influenced by his entourage, but ultimately thinks that he has to carry the message of good vs evil in this world.

Acting wise, Josh Brolin becomes George W. Bush from the first minute, he’s great in the role, so are the other actors, except the actress playing condoleza Rice, she had a very weak performance. This is a fresh movie to see, it won’t make you change your mind about the president, but will enable further interpretation of his decisions throughout his 2 terms.
